Investment Philosophy.
The Investment philosophy that we rely on here at NWInvestment involves 6 major stepping-stones. These stepping-stones are discussed in more detail below. The timeframe for return on investment is usually greater than 3 years.
Stepping Stones
- Invest in smaller growth companies that have a potential to grow. We do not invest in companies that are in the ASX 100.
- Invest in companies that have consistent earnings growth, not erratic. So we are looking consistent earnings growth year on year of 5%-20%.
- Invest in companies that have proven and good management. This includes investing in companies with majority shareholders that are of founding families.
- Hold onto these investments over a minimum 3 years.
- Invest in companies that reinvest their money to grow and do not pay it all out in dividends.
- We understand the business and earnings are predictable, which means we generally do not invest in resource stocks.
